About 2f-NIRS

D 16 December 2014

The 2f-NIRS is a national non-profit scientific and professionnal network created in 2013 dedicated to disseminating and promoting knowledge about scientific, technological, and clinical information regarding the latest advances in the field of functional NIRS in humans and to structuring the fNIRS research network in France and French-speaking countries.

To promote the network’s primary goal of supporting the information exchange between researchers, industrial members, engineers, and end-users, 2f-NIRS hosts events that attract attendees from France and other countries. The network offers a wide range of learning, networking, and professional development opportunities: learn about cutting edge research in your fields of interest, meet with your French peers from fundamental, translational, and clinical research, and share best practices with your colleagues !

To kick-off the 2f-NIRS network in 2015, a two-day meeting will be held from 2-3 April 2015 in Toulouse with three distinguished guest speakers:

Dr. Hasan Ayaz, Assistant Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA, USA)

Dr. Judit Gervain, Research Scientist at the Laboratoire Psychologie de la Perception, Université Paris Descartes (Paris, France)

Dr. Louis Bherer, Professor of Psychology, Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
